About the TREE OF LIFE featured artists

I have developed this series of paintings using an intentional creativity method called Color of Woman, a conscious path of reflection infused with symbolic forms. I work with both acrylic and watercolor on canvas, paper and wood. Some of my cards, journals and paintings utilize elements of collage to emphasize my intention. My interest in the natural world led me to my Tree of Life studies and all of my painting now stems from an integration of my experiences in nature and those human qualities represented in the Tree of Life.

I give thanks to all that have crossed my path on this journey especially to the staff, volunteers and all life forms great and small at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, CREW and my neighborhood Nature Park and Butterfly Garden who encouraged me to look through the portals of Florida's natural, everyday wonders that are waiting to meet all of us.

I hope that my paintings and words serve as an invitation to look, listen, taste, smell, feel and intuit more closely, your natural surroundings so that you too can be encouraged to live a life with playful curiosity and creativity!
